We long for spring. We cannot wait until the mounds of snow melt, and the intermittent drizzly ice rain is over in the northwest corner of Connecticut. How do we manage to combat the winter doldrums? With big bodacious Amaryllis! Their huge, brightly colored flowers make us happy and hopeful as we wait for the first sprouts emerging to bring us Galanthus, Eranthis, Iris reticulata and Crocus. Fall 2026 Collection News

We are here working hard on our Fall 2026 flower bulb collection. We think it will be the best collection ever, but we'll leave that for you to decide. We've already added more than two dozen new varieties of Tulips, Narcissi, Lilies and more. Our catalogs will print in April/May and will be winging their way to you in late May, early June. Our websites will be up and running for Fall 2026 in May. Please reserve your clients' favorite varieties early: you can always tweak and add to your order since we don't charge credit cards until shortly before fall shipment.

Now is the time to think about placing your clients' Kitchen Garden Seed orders for easy-to-grow, direct sow flowers. The simple act of pressing seeds into ever-warming spring soil will create opulent display beds and cutting gardens for bouquets all summer long. Consider Bells of Ireland, Cosmos, Hollyhocks, Larkspur, Marigolds, Mexican Sunflower, Moonflowers, Morning Glories, Nasturtiums, Poppies, Spider Flowers, Sunflowers, Sweet Peas and Zinnias.
